Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the Selfora mobile application and related services (together, the "Service") provided by Selfora ("we", "us"). By installing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and accepted these Terms on your behalf.
2. Entertainment and wellness only — not medical
The Service uses AI to produce a "glow" score, commentary, a daily routine, and a "Future You" image (an AI-edited version of your own selfie). The output is intended for entertainment and general wellness only. It is not medical, dermatological, surgical, or cosmetic-procedure advice, is not a prediction or promise of any result, and must not be relied upon for any health decision. Always consult a qualified professional. We disclaim all liability for decisions made based on Service output.
3. Subscriptions and billing
- The Service offers auto-renewing subscriptions ("Selfora Pro") sold via Apple's App Store, typically a yearly plan (with an introductory free trial for first-time subscribers) and a weekly plan. The current price and trial terms are shown in the App and on the App Store before you subscribe.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings or via Settings → Manage subscription inside the App.
- Pricing may vary by region. Apple sets the local equivalent.
- Refunds are handled by Apple per the App Store refund policy.
4. License
We grant you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, resell, or build a competing product using the Service.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of any selfies you submit. You grant us a limited license to process your selfie (including sending it to Google Gemini for analysis and to fal.ai to generate your "Future You" image) for the sole purpose of generating your results, and to store the original selfie and the generated image as described in our Privacy Policy. The generated "Future You" image is created for your personal use within the App.
6. Acceptable use
- Submit only your own selfies. Do not upload images of other people without their consent.
- Do not upload nudity, harassment, hate, illegal, or sexual content.
- Do not attempt to bypass the paywall, abuse free trials, or interfere with the Service's operation.
- Do not use the Service for medical decisions or to diagnose anyone.
We may suspend or terminate access without notice for violations.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including the Selfora name, logo, design, and underlying software, is owned by Selfora and protected by intellectual property laws. AI-generated commentary, routines, and images are provided to you under the license in Section 4 — they are not warranted to be unique or accurate.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE AI OUTPUT IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR FIT FOR ANY DECISION YOU MIGHT MAKE.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SELFORA WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM, OR USD 50 IF YOU PAID NOTHING.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Selfora harmless from any claim arising out of your misuse of the Service or breach of these Terms.
11. Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account in Settings. We may suspend or terminate the Service for any reason. Sections that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, governing law) will survive termination.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which Selfora is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless required otherwise by mandatory consumer law of your country of residence.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Effective" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
